CCPA Compliance
1. Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the 'CCPA'), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. WINGUARDIAN.NET LLC is committed to compliance with these provisions and to giving you transparency and control over your data.
2. Categories We Collect
We collect identifiers (such as name, email address, and company name); commercial information (such as services enquired about or purchased); internet or other electronic network activity information (such as pages viewed and granular details about your browser and device); geolocation data at city level, derived from your IP address; and inferences drawn from the above for the purpose of improving our services. We do not collect precise geolocation as that term is defined under California law, and we do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
3. Right to Know and Access
You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold. Once we receive and verify your request, we will disclose this to you. You may request information covering the 12 months preceding your request, and you may request information beyond that period for personal information collected on or after 1 January 2022, unless doing so would be impossible or would involve disproportionate effort.
4. Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to the exceptions permitted by the CCPA (for example, where we must retain it to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with a legal obligation, or exercise a legal claim).
5. Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of processing it.
6. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Where a business uses sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, or for purposes beyond those permitted by the CCPA, you have the right to direct it to limit that use. We do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond providing our services, securing our platform, and meeting our legal obligations, which are uses the CCPA permits without a separate limitation right.
7. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used. Google processes that information as our service provider under contractual terms that restrict it from using the data for its own purposes. We have disabled advertising personalisation on our Google Analytics property and we have no Google Ads account linked to it, so this data is not used to target advertising to you across other websites or services. We do not use advertising cookies. Because we neither sell nor share personal information, there is currently nothing for you to opt out of and we do not operate a 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' mechanism. If this ever changes, we will update this notice, provide the required opt-out mechanism, and honour opt-out preference signals including the Global Privacy Control before any sale or sharing begins.
8. Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, or provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services.
9. How to Submit a Request
You may submit a request by either of the following methods: (a) by email to legal@winguardian.net; or (b) by post to WINGUARDIAN.NET LLC, 6816 Katella Ave #1026, Cypress, CA 90630, United States. Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to verify your identity. We will only use the information you provide to verify and respond to your request.
10. Authorised Agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written proof of their authority and may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.
11. Response Times
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and will respond within 45 calendar days. Where reasonably necessary, we may extend that period by a further 45 calendar days and will notify you of the extension and the reason for it within the first 45 days.
12. Contact
